Who we are
ClubFeminist began as a desire to gather the right people in the same room.
ClubFeminist is a group in the Northern Virginia area with a simple short-term mission: to bring together people who care about feminism, equality, and the realities women face every day.
The goal is to create a thoughtful, welcoming space where people can speak honestly about inequality, share their perspectives, and feel less alone in what they’ve seen, experienced, or questioned.
Long term, the vision reaches much further. More to come —
What this Site is for
This blog is where I’ll document the journey from idea to reality: the early vision, the event planning, the lessons, the surprises, and the people I meet along the way.
It will also be a place to reflect on the conversations that emerge from the club itself, and on what feminism asks of us in everyday life, not just in theory.
As part of our Club Feminist Writes event series, this space will also publish feminist voices—sharing personal stories, perspectives, and reflections from members of the community.
